Truth about Sales Leads
Don’t expect 100% accuracy.

Our lists are compiled and updated continuously from a wide variety of public sources. And although our business database is telephone-verified, businesses change every few minutes, making it simply impossible to be 100% accurate. Plus, at any given time, nearly 20% of the consumer population is moving, too. Our databases are not perfect, but they're still the best business and consumer databases available anywhere. You will find a small percentage of errors. It is not uncommon to have 8-10% undeliverable names, especially in industries and areas with high levels of turnover. If you mail 100 pieces using our lists, it’s not unusual for 8-10 pieces to come back undeliverable. If you are making phone calls, you can expect 10% of the calls will not be completed. The key is the results or responses you receive, not the number of returns. If it increases sales, it’s a good list!

We can’t qualify every business name.

We compile and telephone-verify our database in-house, however, we can’t guarantee that every name is valid under the categories in which they are classified. For example, if a company is listed under “Computer Dealers,” we can’t guarantee that they actually sell computers (although most do). We must rely on the business classifications as they appear in our sources.
